I am not sure if I missed something in the context of a few of these posts, but is it assumed above that if you make a boner joke or two (or a bazillion ....jwar.....) that it is because you want to avoid talking about "real" shit?

And that if a conversation isn't serious it's boring?

A few thoughts
1. We have a crap ton of serious conversations both on and off the forum even the most bonerjokerific of us have very serious moments.
2. Don't assume people are deflecting "real" conversations.
3. Lists are cool and Number three on any list should always be a very valid point.

Not sure I ever chimed in on the context of this thread but I like it here, I am closer to some peeps on here than I am to anyone in real life.
The last few years have been brutal for me and ILF is critical to my sanity on a daily basis (especially when I travel)

I have made lifelong friends on here who can be very real and their boners I am sure can be very real or metaphorical in nature.

I will say this. I'm going to say what I want, when I want until one of the mods or admins ask me not to. That's the way it's always been on ILF. You guys know that. It has nothing to do with maturity or growing older. A lot of the folks on here are still in their 20's for crying out loud. I love the community feel and I love adding value at times but I also like my dick and fart jokes. So what. I can have both. That's why I come here. I love how people express themselves so differently.

Listen if something offend you it's because you've made a conscious decision to be offended by it. Words are just words. Yes they can be damaging but I don't think that is the purpose and anything I've ever said and if it has been I've owned up to it and apologized. I could care less about the ratio of men to women on this forum. What it be nice if more women participating in the forum? Sure why not. It makes no difference to me. I like all the conversations we have regardless of if they are joking or serious. My entire point behind this thread was that people get offended so easily that it's obnoxious. It's gotten to the point sometimes where you cannot have an opinion because it may offend somebody else. That is just fucking stupid in my opinion. Everyone can think the way they wanted an express themselves the way they want. We aren't all civil all the time but we get along.
