The pickup is great dude. Spent some time playing clean with it last night and adjusting the height to taste. Was getting a little buzzing in terms of the strings getting too close to the low E so I dropped it down just a hair on that side and it's perfectly balanced now. Plays well with my fuzz, sounds beefy when it's a humbucker, and then adds a decent amount of clarity when split into the single coil. Been having so when I do clean stuff I have it pulled out for a single coil, then when I put fuzz on push the volume knob and slam it into humbucker mode. Really broadens the range of tones in my opinion, and makes me less likely to want to add a bridge pickup in the future.

In all I still need to do a little bit of tweaking with the action- I'd like to drop it down a little bit lower, but for now it is okay. The nut itself is a little higher than I've used on most other guitars, but with tuning in F I don't really have a problem with it.

What I most enjoy about the F tuning is I can play just a few strings lower in normal guitar range like I am used to, and then just get stupid low with the E String which is great, really awesome for layering multiple parts in loops!

Fun fact: This guitar is lighter than my Jazzmaster by a few pounds. It's kind of crazy
