I seem to recall that it has considerably longer delay time than the original SDD too, yes? That's the main thing tempting me, I love my SDD but I would like longer, lo-fi delay times too.hollowhero wrote:Sunny Day Delay with footswitchable modulation and oscillationAngryGoldfish wrote:To refresh my mind, what are the features thus far?

Yep, I recall double the delay time, but with the same chip for some low fidelity action.

Not sure if the CTC SDD is the same as the ILFDD.
The CTC SDD I have has:
- 3 switches
| BYP| - On/Off
| MOD| - Repeats Modulation On/Off
| FBK| - Momentary Switch for feedback oscillation
- Double the production SDDs delay time
- *an additional feature over production SDDs* not sure if should be disclosed as Ryan may want to keep it as a surprise for the ILFDD

You have that now?! That's cool... you're in Australia too?doralin wrote:Not sure if the CTC SDD is the same as the ILFDD.

I don't think there's any other feature though, I'm not sure what you mean...
The longer delay time is really lo-fi.. if you don't like that kinda sound I don't think you'll like this but I think it's really cool. It's how SDDs originally were too, but squares kept getting freaked out by the weird clock noise and lo-fi repeats so I made it all go away. Let's freak out some squares, man!
Resistors on the right, caps on the left! I could do a shop tour for you guys.. I think you'd think it was kinda funny how small my area is.. I have a cool little corner that I work out of.oldangelmidnight wrote:Ryan! Shop tour!goroth wrote:I liked seeing the glimpse into the Doc's secret moon cave. Heya Ryan!
Totally, first owner and got that along with the awesome Cosmi we forgot about haha.
The CTC SDD has an extended modulation range as per your instruction sheet and comparing it to my standard SDD so I can get über freak out delays
Love dr scientist stuff

Ohhhhhhh geeez, I was sure you weren't Wei! *smacks forehead* I thought why did Wei sell it, he liked it, even thought about kicking some rocks, haha.
I forgot about extending that mod range a bit.. it does go a bit weirder doesn't it! Geez you're good, Wei! *smacks forehead a couple more times*

Shouldn't smack yourself that much Ryan, we still need you to be able to make your awesome pedals (or is that how you get about making them, by smacking yourself in the forehead?) haha!
Looking forward to the ILFDD Ryan!

Ryan's secret for pedal building is out: Self harm!
edit: I just realised how depressing and insensitive that joke is.

**Emergency Broadcast System sirens and horns and loud noises**
This is fair warning for the imminence of the ILFDD sale!
They're all built, they're all awesome, and either tomorrow or Wednesday I'll put up a new thread with all the details on getting yourself one! I think it's gonna go like this.. I'll put up the thread with the info, price, pic of ones to choose from, FAQ, and have people email me with payment and their colour preference. I'm just waiting for the shipping boxes to arrive, should be Weds or Thurs, and then I can start boxing these up for the post. There's 35 total, Adam and Jeff each get one, leaving 32 available for sale, and one will be kept for an ILF giveaway this summer/fall.
