Sparrows are common in Nature. in backyards. everywhere.
Moz and Marr chose the name The Smiths "because it was the most ordinary name".
i used to want to Write/be an Author.
i like Nature and Birds.
My avatar is a sparrow .. trying to write a Novel. but .. thinks too much.

Doctor X (1932) ... one of the last films made, along with Warners' Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), in the two-color Technicolor process.
Relevant scene starting at 15.30, (for some reason the video clip is extremely dark with a light spot in the centre. A better quality copy was on youtube before but was pulled for copyright infringement, this one probably will be too)

You're an astronomer, Doctor?
Not that, Sir, I have an interest in the light qualities of the moon.
If you might suffer sunstroke, might you not suffer some similar evil from the rays of the moon?
... What we call lunacy, from the word luna, meaning the moon ...
However, the luna rays will never affect you or me, Sir, because we are normal people.
... It affects strangely certain neurotic types ...
