oh baby. nice job. mine were very similar except i found a xfmr with 2x 12 volt taps and i just made 2 outputs (since the 7809 can easily push 1 amp). I was thinking to design a board with a pic driving pwm's for some smps regulators. having some jumpers to dictate the voltage of each output. There are some motor control pics that have up to 6 separate pwm outs so i think that would be perfect. some surface mount xfmrs to keep it small and away we go. summer project maybe.

also you might want to put a fuse in there if you are plugging into mains. maybe you have one but its hard to see.

There is a small fuse behind the leftmost electrolytic cap.

I was also thinking doing only 2 7809 because of the high current they can pump, and to save one transformer. But I did it this way mostly because of the 4 isolated outs. So I can daisy chain positive ground pedals on one, digital pedals with oscillator noise on the second and so on....
First I wanted to do a switched power supply with pwm and all that jank. But that would've been way more expensive than that thing, and I was kinda low on cash.. so yeah... built that thing on a budget. Therefor I saved a PIC 18F2550 I had laying around at home for another project I want to do.
I'm a PIC guy too, but if you want to do serious PWM-ing try an Arduino! The standard one has 6 PWM outs and there are some software emulating options or project shields for even more PWM stuff.

TGD. FUCKING LOVE THIS FINISH. this pedal is so weird and insane that sometimes i'm left wondering whether i fucked up while building it or if it's like, supposed to sound like that.
