Played it today for about an hour. This thing is awesome--cuts through mixes, has incredible definition with complex chords too. Im bad at explaining tone so I'll leave it at that. Ill have a bass report within a few weeks hopefully.

My new obsession. Will be finished in a month or so- I still has to pay for it >.<
The labels are wrong and I just photoshopped the pedal to show what I'd like the layout and colour scheme to look like in the end.

The Wren is a symbol of my band label not a hit @ the pedal brand (my projects name has been Wren and Kestrel since '07 :grumpy:  )
It will be an MKII (tonebender) and a Foxey Lady (Big Muff) and I don't think I'll get much sleep till it comes.

I have a few Couch straps (none were close to $100 and all very cool) and I've never had trouble with nitro finishes, melting or otherwise :idk:

I was a little apprehensive and contacted with some questions before ordering. They'll warn you not to store the strap in the case with/on your guitar, but beyond that, Couch said they haven't seen damage from normal use.

Hmmmmmmm :erm:
I guess I could just take the strap off after playing it.

If you use Schaller straplocks (others will probably work too) the strap never even touches the guitar in the same place for too long and they are super easy to take off. :idk:

I just snagged a Green Russian Muff, with the wooden box, battery cover, all knobs. Not mint but really clean. Got it at a local pawn/junk shop.
You don't want to know what it cost, especially as I got them to knock 30% off the asking price.
 :joy:
Pics in a bit ...

GENERAL GUITAR QUESTION NOT WORTHY OF A SEPARATE THREAD:

I broke the high e string on my jazzmaster today; would it hurt the guitar at all to leave it off, since the neck and bridge aren't experiencing "normal tension"? I wouldn't think that it would, especially since it's the smallest string that's gone, but I'd rather be safe than sorry so I'm asking.

I actually kind of like not having it on there.

i went a good month or so without a high e string due to lazyiness, and i probably only felt a need to change it two or three times. when i put one back on it felt a bit odd to have a string there again lol

Guitar is easy, all it takes is 5 strings, 3 notes, 2 fingers and one arsehole
Keef's been doing it for decades.
