I still don't fully understand how the DK works from reading the manual, especially on how pitches get changed or envelopes get pinged. Nor do i have any idea what a Rungler sequencer is, even after reading the website on it. I'm just gonna have to get it and see how it goes!

Awhile back I read up on Serge Analog Shift Registers...can't find the link but if you search for old Serge Manual's you'll find a good description of what the s/h and register shifting is about and examples of how you might go about patching those outputs in interesting ways to multiple oscillators etc. I thought that would be incredibly cool. I guess Rungling is just some chaotic variation on that. This is from the man himself.....the whole series of his videos is really interesting.

That still didn't help me with knowing what to expect from the Double Knot though, haha. but yeah once you have it in front of you and you start experimenting with patching its different Outs to be different Ins, its pretty easy to figure out what to expect and the User Manual will make more sense.

S/H fun using Ieaskul F Mobenthey Dunst's BDUSOU/BNOICE into a Random*Source SSG, such great sounds when triggering the VCFQ filter.

using stereo y-cable running the two channels of Double Knot through their own Monotribe's ms20ish filter. pretty nice, then clocked both Monotribes from the Double Knot and got weird :animal: So glad I found these 3,5mm trs stereo male to dual female 3.5mm y cable stereo adaptors...so useful with the CL etc.

Lorre-Mill Double Knot into 2x Low-Gain Electronics Format Jumbers, with 4xGieskes No Drums and 2xVoice-Rec, into Malekko Unity Mixer and Mix 4

Those wires... something inside me shuddered.
I'm too anal retentive for modular, I guess.

That's funny. Cable orgy is the main reason I wanna get into euro and modular

With a Low-Gain Electronics Format Jumbler patched the Double Knot R2R CV outs through the Comparator side of Serge +NCOM. Patched the resulting Comparator and Stepout back to modulate the Double Knot. Used the Divide By Pulse out of NCOM to clock half of the Double Knot, which was also modulating the N steps :joy: Ran the stereo outputs of the Double Knot through the two inputs of a Serge Resonant EQ. Realize I need to build another Resonant EQ now  :animal:

those Intellijel Planar Joysticks are the only I've tried, they feel great. Pretty loaded module too. Most of the heavy lifting was being done by the Malekko Joystick Axis Generator's, i made a demo of one of those.

Patched the Triangle out from one oscillator of the Lorre-Mill Double Knot through a Low-Gain Electronics format jumbler to the 3.5mm main clock in. This was a good idea. :excellent:
