does that mean that you're het and going gay clubbing, or that you're totally going gay clubbing? not that it matters either way; i'm just unclear on the idiom.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought something like that right away.

Either way, that's pretty sweet. I've wanted to grab an organ for a while now. There's always an old hammond or something on CL on the cheap.

I finally managed to combine my classic fuzz, my double amps and my flanger to get the guitar sound in No Matter What by Badfinger.

Best thing I've ever made, possibly...

getting a used G4 MacBook for $200. yeah, that's high for a six-year-old PPC MacBook, but i'm getting it from a graphics dude and it comes with the full Adobe CS4 suite, so i can plug it into my desktop monitor and BAM! instant freelancer workstation so i can try for all the work-at-home stuff i haven't been able to go after since i don't have the software here :!!!:

Show last night was awesome. I am thoroughly exhausted.
Also, I think we may have had the nicest sound guy ever.

sounds awesome! :thumb:
maybe you should have turned the volume of the snare drum up in the second part (around 03:10) to make it a little more precise... :idk:
anyway.. excellent work!

Now to the part why I'm happy:
I had my first gig with the new marching band I'm in this saturday... we got a surprise visit from the Austrian President... yeah... so that was kinda cool :D he even got us a gift (a big ass basket with all sorts of food and booze :D) so... HELL YEAH! :!!!: :thumb:

Duncan doughnuts appeared to have suffered no visible damage from the storm. Other than two girls behind the counter that thought every thing people asked for was chocolate sprinkles every thing was fine.
I got doughnuts, but without sprinkles.

Thanks dudes  i post it in "music", but my thread is a bit ghosttownish so i decided to spam a bit :!!!:

about the snare... mixing this song was pretty difficult and i don't want to sound lazy but i'm not sure i can do any better... not with my equipment anyway :idk: it's very home-made, no good studio monitors or a top-notch soundcard or anything

i'm still goddamn proud of it... i don't even know why but i feel really happy about it :)

I wasn't complaining.. don't get me wrong! ... I know recording and mixing is hard at home... especially drums..(I have wires all over the floor in my basement)... But I got a pretty good USB-interface used off ebay...

Maybe because it sounds awesome? :idk:

P.S. @ Dark Axel: When the dotted eighth part of your song kicked in I exclaimed loudly "Whaaaaaat! Siiiiiick!" much to the dismay of my kitty. :!!!:

i programme my drums so the only problem is mixing (and finding a good VSTi and/or good samples is not the easiest thing in the world) :)

maybe... awwww you
