Duuude, sick! So clean. How does it compare to the kidnapper? (which i'm loving, by the way. it's insane) apparently they're almost the same except the kidnapper was optimized for contact mic instead of guitar or something?
currently GASing for a Zvex Loop Gate. realised it's exactly what i've been looking for to put my high-gain pedals in the loop (elements, kidnapper, BUZZZ) so i can crank them and use the gate when i want to do stabbing lines and then turn the gate off to get feedback and noise.

Buzz Box is awesome. I had one a few years ago, and while I loved the Kidnapper, I like having a little more control with the Buzz Box. They so sound a little different. The Kidnapper is a little more raw tha the Buzz Box, and you can actually track a little better with the one mode of the Kidnapper. But the sounds of the Kidnapper are definitely in the Buzz Box. I like using the Buzz Box with the gain cranked and just a little bit of sub to get some thump. It's massive

Sonar and M9 arrived in the mail today and both are pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait for Maude to show up in a few days.

interesting, i've never tried a buzz box but i'd like to one day. i was super surprised at how well the kidnapper tracks, it's up there with the bit commander for sure, really easy to make it glitch and yet easy to get smooth note passages.

My Buzzz and BitQuest keep me entertained for hours. Especially the Buzzz starved with the octave on into the ring mod on the "hidden" uni vibe setting. Good god.

Big day! 1966 DeArmond 602 volume pedal, Infanem Compact Faye Sing B phaser (both arrived in the mail today) and a Paisley Hybrid Fuzz Face I picked up in person from a DAM forum member in Milan.
And here they are in action, with the DeArmond running via a TRS insert cable as a CV pedal for the Faye Sing.
Used that setup to do a quick demo of the Faye Sing, which is a very nifty phaser. Lots of kobs and sliders. I spent a good 30 minutes trying to make it sound like a Phase 90, which is all I've ever really used, before I realised I was better off making it do its own thing. The DeArmond is plugged into the bottom jack (there's another CV jack on top) to control the phase sweep. Will cross post it in the Faye Sing thread.
