Maybe run things through a high pass filter that rolls off at ~50hz in your DAW.

Yep, still want that new Snazzy filter. Will definitely be picking it up.
Also, finally updated my Metropolis to the newest version yesterday and I'm surprised that this module could be even better than before. I may have accidentally bricked it once but hey I got it working the second time.

boom chikcah wah gots a second MI Warps headed towards me.
lol. i was having PROBLEMS with mines. then finally figured out the Parasites firmware was loaded in. which. durp. i mean. TOTALLY different interface, but one can still access all the og functionality. just. trying to use it as if it has the og firmware installed? DOESN'T WORK AT ALL.
having a BLAST with the tape delay. so yummers.
definitely want a second one because the og loot structure is GOOD, the Parasites is SO EXTRA DELICIOUS.

Damn. First the Chronoblob and now a Basimilus Iteritas Alter at a decent price popped up locally. So yeah, that one was in my long term 7U rearrangements goals, so I'm very probably going to get it.
I'll make a proper post for that on BST but if anyone is interested in a Doepfer A148 (dual sample & hold/track & hold), a Super Synthesis PH01ii (knob movement recorder with lots of options), an Intellijel Dixie 2 or a Makenoise STO, I'll have these for sale soon I think... I need to make space and fund that new unplanned thing.

dood. you will NOT be sad with that choice. i am so in love with the BIA. and the Chronobloops is PIMP. fucking around with the XY out of the TerraMorphous (BORDERLANDS RULES EVERYTHING AROUND ME) into it and the Z into the dual delay of the Warps Parasites. so. GOOD.
syncing the hold to steady on offs or to patterned grabs is AWESOME.

Hmmm, oscillateur's oscillators.... tempting...
Bhendy Im sure you can speak to this now (and osc soon), but is the BIA able to easily straddle the line of percussion and melodic uses? I would think so with the way it's laid out but I'm still curious on yr opinion.
Also, I picked up a Tempi for a good good price on MW

yep! was playing with a bassline and moving it in to higher pitched territory yesterday. good STUFF. the pitch tracks pretty close to 1v per octave i think? but right now i only have the BIA and a DU-KRPLS for drums, waiting on Detroid Modular to get the Bitbox back in stock. so using it for all the drums. so fucking VERSATILE.
...... think i'm gonna grab another.
fhrgrgahjagrh. had this 6 minute long jam/song wobble thing recorded, liked how it came out, went to sync the video and mix the volumes.... had only enabled recording on 5 of the 6 tracks. YAY.
do-over tonight.

I'll only get the BIA next week but I've read the documentation and design notes and some blog articles by Noise Engineering.
It definitely tracks V/Oct. Just read this and you'll see how careful he was about the design of his modules to get a good result for this.

Beyond that, you're just limited by the amplitude envelope, mostly the max decay. If you want drones, you won't be able to achieve this with a BIA without retriggering. If you want sounds with a typical envelope then you have a voice in a module basically.
I can report more in details once I have mine. I think one of the main appeals of the module is how it reacts to CV and enables you to get something basically multitimbral but monophonic relatively easily.
And feel free to get tempted by my oscillators

Yeah, he's a smart guy with a strong academic background, a bit like Olivier Gillet from Mutable Instruments, and it shows in his range of modules. Not necessarily for everyone but well-thought and unique.
