I never had a P90 equiped guitar. So it's hard to say.
I will have to go and try them (in july when I'll be on vacation).

I like P90s, but, yeah, you should definitely play some p90 guitars before deciding.

This pretty much. I'd think Fano stuff holds it's value pretty well tho in case resale ever came into play.
I would just be sure the guitar you buy will get you far away from the Tele you currently own so you have some variety, esp when spending that kinda money. I think that Huber you showed me at Axe would be really perfect, coil tapped HB in bridge and P90 in the neck, but cost on those is astronomical.
