Flip it around, and I've got a Sonar coming! Been curious of the Sonar since it came out. Stoked to try it!

Received: Got my Ghost Echo and Monarch back from the fine folks at Acid Splash Designs. They look amazing. So much awesome. Also got an IndustrialElectric Incinerator from jwar. I think I'm going to have to keep it. Thing is straight up a Lament Configuration in pedal form. It summons cenobites every time I play with it. I don't mind the chains and hooks, but the entrails keep getting on the carpet.
Incoming: Aphex Punch Factory. I broke down and picked one up CHEAP on EvilBay. Hopefully, it does what I want.
Outgoing: The ROUGHTRADE SUMMER TRADE TOURBOX EXTRAVAGANZA featuring Penny Pedals, Fuzzhugger, Walrus Audio, 3XFX, and Noisemaker FX.
My plan is to not acquire any new pedals between now and when the box comes to me. We shall see.

I got a new bass today. Fender Precision Bass (American) in some grey/jade color. Shit's cash. Gonna replace the strings but shit it's so much fun to play. Completely brings a new element to the madness.

Ha, there's a bass like that at this place called Fiat that I've been eyeballing for a few months now.

Realising more and more that I need a proper amp, been playing my peavy modelling piece of shit for far too long
Might look into downgrading my guitar and selling some pedals or making a big trade hmm

Decisions, decisions. I bought a $300 MF gift card (15% off!) last night with my xmas/birthday money from last year. Yes, I'm married and in my mid-30s. Yes, I save birthday and Christmas money like a child.
Besides a 10-pack of strings, I've narrowed it to two different things: surf green VM Jaguar -OR- EHX Superego.
On one hand, I have really wanted the Jag for a while now. But, I already have... uhh... over a dozen guitars. It's getting hard to play them all. Plus I'm building a lap steel. And I would need to get a strap, strap locks, and probably upgrade the bridge. Still... I want it.
On the other hand, the Superego does something that nothing else does, and it looks like fun. I can't diy it, and I don't think I'll be able to diy it in the future. It's about as ugly as they come, so I would probably rehouse it.
I'm leaning towards getting the Superego now, and getting the Jag for my birthday/Christmas later this year. If I get the Superego, I'll have a bit of spare cash, so I am thinking about buying
one of these crappy pedals, just so I can see what happens when I toss it in the effects loop of a delay.
I've got plenty of time to think about it.
