I'm spoiled with really awesome band mates and friends. I was told I'm getting one of these pretty soon, on terms that I'm actually going to integrate that to our noisy and erratic as hell doom band.

Somebody has probably got tired of me ranting about the 70's b-movies soundtracks and decided to challenge my practically nonexistent keyboard skills

I need to sell so many pedals, but there's a chance I can swap my MIM Standard Stratocaster and some pedals for a Classic Player 50's Strat. Mine has Texas Specials and his has Fat 50's. I'm not sure I can make it work, but I'm going to try.

That's awesome, Bassus. Now you can be the Finnish Sun Ra.

...only a bit more on the noisy side, but yeah - transmitting a message from the weird side. I can't but chuckle wondering how this will fit in.

IDK, not sure how much more noisy than Sun Ra you can get.
Louder? Yeah.
Noisier? Nah.

...You are absolutely right of course, the noise just has a different flavor because of the band. But yeah. Sun Ra

Ugh, and now he's talking about swapping my Sunn for his Mesa/Boogie. So many options. Head spinning.

After looking at loads of different reverb pedals that have not hit the spot and upmarket multi effects I can't afford so thought I would give this a try.
Looked at SPX90, 900, 100, 2000 and RV models but settled on the 990.
First bit of rack equipment so we will see how it goes.
Looking forward to the early reflections and all that jazz.
Recently services and in good nick so should be able to resell pretty easy if I don't like it.

NNNNNNN
UMI Buzz Tone and Volume Expander. In bypass acts as a variable clean boost, and colors the tone nicely.

I'm not in the market for a new guitar or anything, but someone really should reissue these:
