I had a chance to sit for a few hours and play a guitar... Not normally my style but it sounded fantastic...
Fender modern player marauder. I really want one.
Sucks they've been discontinued but I found a few used ones for a good deal

Next up: Pay off my Unpleasant Surprise and Goodbye 24, and order my Polytope. Polytope might have to wait because I got Saturday off to go see Young Widows and Helms Alee so I have to make sure to put money aside for that. And then I'm going to rent a Cadavernous.

I've got one and I have to say, even up against my Fender American Special Mustang, I think I prefer it sometimes. It has so much tonal possibilities with the 5 way switch. The triplebucker is awesome. It sounds as great clean as it does with dirt and fuzz. I recommend getting one, it's actually a super great guitar no one really talks about.

That was a typo haha I fixed it now. Yeah, it's awesome though!
