2 weeks in customs? That's heinous!!!

I bought a 5 string Musicman Bongo bass from the US a few years ago and it vanished into UK customs for seven weeks !

Ah yes, in the UK it's quite different. When I lived there I had stuff disappear for a bit too. Eventually it came through though without too much of a wait. Usually from Norway to the U.S. it's about 7-10 days before it arrives.

Yeah, that has been my experience as well.

For whatever reason, I find it much more soothing to keep an eye on the tracking in Norwegian...



Still pretty excited about this, tho.

That does seem more relaxing than "The shipment has been sorted and forwarded." which only ramps up the tension.

For those of you who are on the group US buy, looks like our box left Oslo yesterday. I'll update when it hits the states..

Mine is currently passing through UK Customs, so I might have to pay duties before I get it, but last time that only meant popping down the road and picking it up having got a card through the door.

Having said that, once in a while there's no charge, but either way it should be here soon.

I have a gig a week Friday and it's looking pretty good that I'll be able to take this strange thing with me!

Gents, the US box hit New York this morning. Now it just has to make it to Washington state.
