I think the nice thing about an early stalk date is it allows for the proper amount of time to add the trinkets which really make the giving glorious.

I can change it, if that's the consensus.

But first:
I want to make sure everyone has time to notice this thread before cutting off admissions. Maybe y'all should harass folks who aren't posting in here to encourage them to sign up.
Also, giving more time before Christmas can mean either more time to stalk and shop or it can mean more time for people to flake out. At least if someone backs out before the assignments are made, I don't have to re-shuffle Santas.

Maybe bump up the application deadline to the 15th and I'll get out the assignments ASAP after that?

I hate changing avatars at the best of times. Even more so at crucial times of the years such as ILFSS-stalking period.

If people drop during and they don't have a damn good reason, then they are supposed to have consequences. So don't be an asshole still applies in this case. If you loose your job or some shit, that's different.

I personally would like more time and don't want it to stay open longer because you get those people who barely post but just wants gifts trying to participate.

I haven't seen any builders chime in. Maybe they didn't notice?
