Mmmmhmmmm...It's $50 shipped. I bought it to try out a King Buzzo setup with my ODB-3 for fun, but I already sold my Sunn Beta a while back and I'm trying to get rid of all the gear I don't use consistently now.

That's exactly how much I had in my paypal till an hour ago.....

If you decide to sell some plasma, hit me up. I had so much gear money right before my kid was born dude, I had some plans. The kid's birth and medical bills were paid for, but then MY bills got crazy and now I'm selling off half my gear just to pay down credit cards and keep from sucking up all our savings. Finances be crazy, good thing I'm fucking miser otherwise. All the pennies in our house are well pinched.

I feel ya bro, kids can do that to ya haha
I really really want to get a Fairfield Accountant, I played one that Skully had and loved it plus its aesthetics match my board perfectly haha
Kinda want to try an EHX pulsar trem as well....

Ironically it's just coincidental about my kid being born. We had all his bills planned and paid for in advance, no problem. I just didn't go to the dentist for 15 years and my mouth exploded. So I had to spend my entire gear fun paying out of pocket for a root canal, a filling and two crowns. I had dental insurance too, not anymore unfortunately, but I burned through the $1800 of coverage in like 2 visits and I think I went once a week for something like 6 weeks to get it all sorted.

Damn bro, thats rough. I hate dental work and I've had tons through out my years, including three pairs of braces and my teeth still aren't straight....

Yep, that's why I didn't go for so long. I had braces and retainers twice, headgear, gum surgery, had 8 teeth filled, then pulled the next day because of a clerical error. I had a lot of dental issues before I turned 18. Then I moved out on my own, went to the dentist and my teeth cleaning for a couple years and then never again until I was 35. At least the dentist told me he was surprised my teeth weren't way more messed up considering how long I didn't go for lol.
So yeah, pedals. I'll have to take a new board pic once I get my new shizz in from Dunwich.

Can't argue with that, the Grails pretty much always sound great.
That's a shame, the heaviest music I've ever heard had not a lick of distortion on it. Heavy is not defined by distortion or fuzz, but in the content of the music.
Truth.

This one intrigues me greatly. I love my Diamond, but the simplicity (and aesthetics) of the Accountant appeal to me in that squishy deep-down place. Plus Fairfield stuff always sounds great and has a lot of "usability" (in my experience).

Yup one of the few things EHX got right...
The Accountant is pretty much noiseless, can be extremely subtle or fairly squishy all while retaining transparency. If you want a Compression "Effect" like total squashed clicky kinda tones it didn't seem like the right one for that job, I want subtle though with just a lil squish and good sustain which is what it did do wonderfully.

As much as I liked my Holy Grail (which Mr. Summit now owns) it was easily outdone by the Blackout Effectors Cadavernous. I always find it odd that this verb hasn't caught on. The swell feature seems like a wet dream for so many people on this board.

Big Box Holy Grail sounded better to me than the Nano I picked up a while back. I've heard that they are identical and they might be, I didn't have them at the same time to do a side by side. I just remember the big box being much more lush. I ended up getting a Ghost Echo and love it for an always on verb. Matt uses a Nano Grail for spaced out goodness though and it rules.
Also, put my Pharaoh back on my board for the first time in years (bassist was using it) and forgot how awesome that thing is.

Got this Demon King in the mail today. This thing is just what the doctor ordered. Left switch is the on/off, right monetary feedback, gate is the toggle switch, and also has a clean blend. I had a demon that was all this - the feedback, but it was the smaller enclosure and I'd stomp both at least once per show. I was going to send it back to get the gate switch disconnected in the always on position, but then Ron posted this over at Talkbass. I'm happy.
The Meatsmoke is about to get kicked off the board. I run both channels clean always on so I never stomp it. Got a reverb on the way so I need the real estate.

You guys are killing it.
I come in here and feel awesome about being back down to a tuner and a fuzz.
Skip, is that a DMM or Electric Mistress or something else?
