There's a flat rate box up to 2 kgs that's awesome, and I've been to five different post outlets every day since Saturday and keep hearing "yeah, sorry, we don't have any but they should be on the way in with the delivery today".

Yeah, but its quite a bit cheaper with the flat rate - around 10 eur. Fuck it, if I can't buy one at lunch I'll nick home and grab a regular box and eat the postage.

I know right! I hope I'm not jumping the gun on claiming it's my Secret Santa package, but on the phone my mom said it was a mediumish sized package from Australia. She told me the name of the sender, but she didn't tell me what was claimed on the customs form so I can't say for certain. But I definitely didn't order anything from Australia that I remember...

I just got mine out yesterday and the postman kept trying to sell me on first-class shipping saying, "ya know it takes just as long to get there with priority as it does with first class." No it doesn't mister postman. I've sent stuff to my international fuzz brothers a lot and priority's always weeks faster than first class!

Mine is going to be pretty fucking close to the cut off date or maybe after. I hope not, but USPS might be a bitch and it's coming from elsewhere. I hope my SS will forgive me when he/she sees the AMAZING gift I'm having made.

Plus I'm going to send some other goodies to hold them over until the main gift arrives.

Finally shipped. Fuck you USPS only having 1 person working.

Part one of my gift has been received. Part two has been ordered and claims it will take a week or two to get here. I wish I was able to get it sooner, but I didn't have the money. Pretty stoked to see it. Hopefully it gets here in a reasonable amount of time. I know the postal service will be swamped, but luckily my gift doesn't have very far to go.
