Ha yes, I know what you mean, but content wise it's less cluttered. No clickbait, not really much politics, just generally enjoyable stuff to peruse. It does have significantly more ads now, which sucks, but I still like it the best out of all the social media sites, I'd say.
There are ads on Instagram?

Could be a regional thing.
I guess the Scandobloc is probably too intelligent as a populous en masse for innundative advertising to have any real effect.

"Sponsored Posts" are all over the place on Instagram. Generally they're not too bad for me though. Although, they have been getting more and more spammy. Still, the "go to this site to be guaranteed 1000 followers" posts are way worse.

I have to constantly block bots on my competitor instagram. On Acid Splash I never get them and I have way more followers. LOL. Go figure.

I get lots of pornbots. "Follow me--I like to fuck" etc.
The other day, one of them had a pointing finger emoji and a circle finger emoji in her name, which I thought was quite novel.

Mine is mostly digital photo art, but there's some liquid light show pics too. I'll probably post more gear photos when I find a better space to set things up.
