yeah, there's a noise scene here in northern california... some of the noise guys here play across the nation! it's crazy
i got a chance to share the stage that day with some fine noise acts... as well as some ambient groups from france!
i'm nowhere near as good as some of the others who performed that day, but i'm making the excuse of "it's my first time"
Hey I thought it was damn cool. Also that's awesome that there is a scene for that around you, wish we had that in Minneapolis.
When I lived in Minneapolis (about 6 or 7 years ago) there was. Look up Noisebrothel http://soundcloud.com/noisebrothel and Babyeater Recordings. I miss the twin cities SOOOO much great music
A lot of no-input mixing and hardware synth wankery.

OMG Cubase is so hard...
I stuck a mic in the window and got the Cicadas tonight... Monotribe in the background... My first digital upload with this new Tascam thing so I have some stuffs to figure out but it sounds good on headphones on my end... Lemme know...
Sometimes, on a promenade in the lonely hours of the night, You get the feeling You're not alone. And those dark woods keep making sounds, hiding the overgrown place where they found the body.
After a couple hours of fucking around with it I think I got cassette tape loopz down, at least the most basic 4 or 5-second type. There's nothing wrong with the tape, it sounded AWESOME until I recorded too much stuff on it and blew it out. But that's what the super convenient erase head toggle mod is forrrrrrrrrr, just clean it up and redo

that is fucking brutal. in a very honest sense of the word.
posted this everywhere else. part one of a noise jam i did on bass.
^Nice, man. I especially like from 4:30 on where the higher-pitched jank comes in, cool atmosphere. Feels like some creepy shit is going down in outer space.
