I assume you've played a mole/hogsfoot before? They are literally nothing but bass. Too dark with stock values, imo.

My SSStampede is pretty crazy on the highs. Could you recommend a different simple circuit that would do a better job of fattening/darkening the sound?

Good idea, it's really no different in size than the mole if I recall correctly. You could have Skully simply mod the mole for more full range and still be DEEP as well. Lower the electros by half maybe, and tweak one or both of the .1ufs to taste

NPD!. So far I love it, it's much more organic and springy sounding than the Nimbus I just sold. The EAR AD4096 and this are made for each other. Only complaint looking inside, is it looks like the board could've been laid out ALOT tighter, not sure the pedal needed to be so massive.
And made on Pi day.
