The thread was started it seems to have a cheaper alternative to the Xero. Not sure either way if our filter will be cheaper or not but we will see

I'll pay whatever (within reason haha) because I know I'm gonna get some high quality stuff. And if it doesn't jive with my setup, I know there's gonna be a line of people clamoring to take it off my hands :D

I'm tempted to sell my Nimbus and pick up a Cadavernous but I'm worried I won't be able to get my hands on another Nimbus

You should rent one. That's what I'm gonna do. Effectordie has them. Its like 40 bucks for a week, which is a little steep, but at least you'll know if you like it.

I kinda regret flipping my Xero. And my Superego. A little bit.

Ring Thing showed up a few days ago and I was not prepared for how much I would like it. The easy ringmod tuning and presets really push it over the top. :joy:

Well, caps are basically batteries and that guy is fuckin' massive; it's entirely possible those twenty seconds were just the capacitor discharging.

Yep.
You can lick those big capacitors to get palpable feedback on their charge level, just like with a 9V...
