Yeah, I'm quite happy with the Loucks. I'll probably replace the ampeg before long. It was great with my AOR but I don't love it with the Verellen.

So last night I had a practice with just the drummer and myself - 50w Laney wasn't loud enough…
Not anywhere near enough low end. So I built a bass booster this morning… well actually 6…
If they work out, I'll be selling them because who doesn't need more bass!

It's a schematic i've used before, I had built one with handmade etch etc and had 6 fabbed in a house.

lol^ I guess it's about the same when i first started building cabs cause I built 3 at the same time without knowning absolutely that what I was doing would sound great. And it turned out I knew exactly what the hell i was doing.

Lucky I can see the frequency response on my computer before I even build.
Plus, I am confident in building circuits from scratch - especially a simple booster.
Looking forward to running 2 in stereo through the AORs
