I was thinking of getting the Doomidrive then probably either the Fuzzfight or Harakiri in the future. Then for recording songs I want to do one channel ECT and other Doomidrive or other CF stuff. Then adding in my Noise Invaders, Phantom Ring and Mini Ark for chaos when appropriate

I got a 10% coupon for the Doomidrive too :)

On to the Drum Software GAS!

I just traded a Doomidrive here a couple weeks ago. I only had it for about a month but I really liked it.
I traded it because it didn't make my band board and it's too pricey for me to keep it and not use it very often.
If you like overdrive it's great, I'm just more of a fuzz guy.
As far as the point to point vs. not point to point, I don't think the sound differs at all.

I traded it to another ILF'ER so I could check and see if he's still into it or not, if you want?

That'd be great since I'm more of a fuzz guy as well and I can't really afford to flip a lot of pedals

I still need to plan out what I need and see how it fits into my sound on top of all the other fuzz. From what I've heard though it does a great dark fuzz tone as well as great overdrive and even acts as kind of a treble booster with the bottom rolled off. Not a ton of samples out there though.

I also saw you traded it for a Mountainking pedal a while back and were impressed with it, better than the Doomidrive or did it just fill a different role in your sound?

I just narrowly avoided buying myself a Peavey Razer yesterday -- it has the same deal with the pickups, but is absolutely the ugliest fucking thing on the planet. I still want one though (thank you very much T-Model Ford).

Anyone got a good source of mullet wigs and spandex?
:picard:

Great guitar though kosta -- heavy plank, the T-40 I used to have bent spacetime -- but a nice sounding old beast.
Good deals done with all these guys

I'm having a "Should I buy?" panic attack!
Should I buy a (supposedly) mid-60s Jazzmaster for $1500?

I have yet to lay eyes on it, as well.

I am really set on this, the only problem is, I don't quite have the money yet.
I'm trying to work a partial trade, even though I realize it's a steal of a price to begin with.

The Randy's Revenge is not in production at the moment... You found a used one? (I wist I have one). :)
They should be back in production this year (with a better price).

I love that Mustang, definitely gets the most attention currently!

Kyle was cool enough to post a v1 Whetstone updated to v2 specs with new enclosure, on the cheap. Could no longer resist, Small Stone headed to the B/S/T!

My tele has the same pickup in the neck (which I love), plus the coil spliting andthe larger frets make me want it even harder.

Do you keep yours in standard tuning?

Actually have it tuned a 1/2 step down, pretty close to standard. Sets up great with super low action. I know that short scale would excel with lower tunings, haven't gotten around to checking it out just yet.

And the pickups do sound great, the best Fender HBs I've tried, coil tapping is excellent.
