Definately overspend on old sunns. Coincedetally, I happen to have in my possesion an old sunn concert bass head that I would happily part with should someone choose to overspend on it. :D.
But srysly, I do has and would let go for cheap to someone here if interested.

I like old sunns. . . How cheap?

i was on another forum...and a guy was asking about orange amps, and the fact that he wanted a classic rock sound, so i suggested that he should get an older orange to get the real orange sound, as the new ones have really changed. But then i was flamed by others saying, that i was talking bullshit and that all you need to do is get a new orange, and turn the gain down and you would have a vintage orange sound!

Now, i don't know all the technical aspects, but i know what i hear, and having listened to an older oranges i know the new ones just don't sound the same...anyway...i didn't bother responding to it, seems like a waste of time.

Totally agree. New Orange amps, although OK, are just not that good sounding in comparison to old, and aren't as practical if you want 'true' vintage Orange/Zeppelin tone.

Analog sections need to run at higher voltages then to allow for sufficient headroom. The other problem is that the DSP stuff in the tech needs to have a lot of bits for headroom. Like the Styrmon stuff has 24 bit. This means there is sufficient room for the A to D to capture large input swings.

The Ditto has 24 bit audio as well, so it should be awesome.

Now the only thing to hope for is that it will work in the loop of my Soldano. If not no biggie because I have the JCM 800, but it would bne nice if I could find pedals that work in the loop without having to either mod the loop or get other crap to convert the signal to work with it.

Kinda freakin out guys.... I've been having an unusual amount of back pain lately and limbs going numb and staying numb for longer then usual, I didn't think much of it as I've lived with a herniated disk for many years now. Just a little while ago my shoulder start hurting bad and i went to go massage my upper back and found a cyst on my spine about the size of a grape. I never noticed it before and neither did the wife who gave me a back massage just a few days ago. So its appeared and grown to that size in just a few days and this isn't my first cyst, i had a grape sized cyst removed from inside my left wrist when i was 18. And that surgery has limited my usage of my left hand for the rest of my life (its the main reason i had to stop playing drums). Add on to all that that I don't have insurance at the moment, so I'm freakin out a lil. Guess I'll have to make a doctors appointment and say good by to my entire savings.... FUCK.

Luckily i'm not freaking out like anxiety attack freaking out. I just fear that one day my body is going to cause the end of my music career as it's all ready done with my ability to play drums. It puts alot of stuff in perspective since I've got a little one on the way. I fear becoming a bed room guitarist a lot, but not as much as I fear being a dad who can't play with his own kid. Not to mention i've got two step kids to look out for.

I know I'll be all right, ain't nothin taken me down yet. And trust me alot of things have tried

Thanks man I really appreciate it. Yeah definitely going to have to hold off on any gear plans for the time being, hopefully I don't have to down size to single neo-speaker cabs, class D amps, and lightweight basses and guitars....

Hey, man. I hope this is nothing significant, and even if it is, that you recover quickly.

Is your pre-existing herniated disc in your lumbar spine? And remember any particular incident that made your back start hurting in the past few days (hauling anything heavy, twisting awkwardly)? What about family history of back problems or anything similar to this?

Also, was your wrist a ganglion cyst?

I may ask a multitude of questions on this. Feel free to answer/not answer them as you please.
