Seems pretty fair, I'd offer him less though and see how it goes. Here's a thread about pricing that exact Jazzy, I think, looks like he's asking more than he paid but there have been PU upgrades so....

I was thinking of getting the Doomidrive then probably either the Fuzzfight or Harakiri in the future. Then for recording songs I want to do one channel ECT and other Doomidrive or other CF stuff. Then adding in my Noise Invaders, Phantom Ring and Mini Ark for chaos when appropriate
I got a 10% coupon for the Doomidrive too
On to the Drum Software GAS!
I just traded a Doomidrive here a couple weeks ago. I only had it for about a month but I really liked it. I traded it because it didn't make my band board and it's too pricey for me to keep it and not use it very often. If you like overdrive it's great, I'm just more of a fuzz guy. As far as the point to point vs. not point to point, I don't think the sound differs at all.
I traded it to another ILF'ER so I could check and see if he's still into it or not, if you want?

But, I'd go in that direction if I were you. They were a lot lighter and less destructable than the average bow, and I'm kinda clumsy, so that was nice.
Oh, I know; one year for a set of string bass strings is still "new" in my book; last set I changed on the URB was 12 years old. I mainly took them off because they had the Spirocore "hard to bow well" thing going for them, and my bass instructor had just recently started prototyping the first incarnation of the D'Addario Helicores. So I got a set of those - for next to nothing - from him to use.
I've been looking at a carbon fiber bow, actually. I emailed my old instructor this weekend, and am calling him tomorrow to check on what he has. Since he has a studio, he's been a dealer for basses and accessories for years and said he has a number of them that I'll probably like that won't kill me price-wise.

That'd be great since I'm more of a fuzz guy as well and I can't really afford to flip a lot of pedals
I still need to plan out what I need and see how it fits into my sound on top of all the other fuzz. From what I've heard though it does a great dark fuzz tone as well as great overdrive and even acts as kind of a treble booster with the bottom rolled off. Not a ton of samples out there though.
I also saw you traded it for a Mountainking pedal a while back and were impressed with it, better than the Doomidrive or did it just fill a different role in your sound?

That probably is the same guy; buffalo ain't too far from here. I just hope he isn't still in buffalo so I don't have to drive an hour just to try the thing out. Thank you for the help

It's in pretty sweet shape for sure. The electronics need a little attention, but the dude knocked enough off the price so that I can even have a tech do it at the shop down the street and still be in good shape. The whole single coil to humbuckers thing on the tone knobs on this is so freakin' cool.
Nice, I'm pretty jelly. And in teh original case too. very nice. The old peavey's hold their tune very well, so if you use any "odd tunnings. This would be teh one to use them on. I have mine tuned to an E maj. down a whole step. (yes a D maj. chord, just layed out differently)
