Yep, just mask paint one color, mask other part - paint, sand.

Thanks. I sort of made them to be like they are. The tops were chipped so I ground them down and polished them
to a dull finish. They were silver topped originally.

Here's another...
Peak Freq.
Variable resonant band pass/frequency boost and blend knob.

Basically a manual wah type filter with a wider peak and
overall stronger sound, a mix control to dial in the amount of effect. Helps adjust for
a lead sound or chordal playing.
