You'll have to let us know what you think of that amp.
Buying a Stiletto Ace was the biggest gear mistake I've ever made. It is so fucking bright sounding. I still have it, but I mostly use it as a clean pedal platform (on either tite clean or fat clean)

Yeah, shit is really bright. But, I kinda like it? And, I also typically set Marshalls that way too, so, this being "British", it makes sense. I feel it's better to have the option for too much treble over not enough.

Yeah having the option is nice, but the problem with the stiletto is that sometimes all the way down is still too much treble

... it's really only a problem on channel 2

Bright can be cool. Probably more helpful in a band/two guitarist situation.
Definitely not fun, jammin out on your own...cuttin your own head of with high frequencies.
I'll tell you what's NOT fun though, is when the dude from The Shrine cranks the arse out of a mesa boogie in a small basement venue and the sounddude mixes the guitar and vox past the PAs limit, bombarding your ears with instant tinnitus for an hour, peaking the fuck out of everything and making you hate life in general. And at no point does said sound guy attempt to rectify this. he just goes on, drinking his beer, thinking one of these scene bitches is gonna suck him off later tonight.
/rant.
