Just picked up another mic stand and mic clip, finally, so that I can properly mic my cabs instead of just leaning them on the grill.

I've had a Thumb5 for years and loved it. This corvette is supposedly tonally different, but the neck should feel similar which is what I'm looking for.

Now the hard part begins. New bass fuzz. I'm currently trying to decide between a TAFM, Malekko Diabolik, and a Mountainking Heavy Machine. This may be a lot to ask, but I need a sharp, precise fuzz-tortion that can cut through and still maintain the crushing low end. My SSStampede does everything my muff does but better, so I have the saturated mean fuzz, and it can get trashy with the starve, I have a mini for some od, and my gloom drive is better for higher register stuff. Now I just need to complete the arsenal.
TAFM would probably nail that one for you. It's actually what I'm looking at to complement my SSStampede as well.

holy shit. Elon from Custom District is the MAN. i mean. DAYUM.

got the board i needed a super specific size to fit into my keyboard case in today and built it up.

it comes apart and has a top layer and bottom layer....
Image

when i put them together the Cioks Schizophrenic psu and my preamp pedal fit all cozy underneath. i never have to touch them and i can plug in the output of the preamp on the side....
Image

then after the pedals i do have to step on are onboard (spacing is weird for a switch from Ditto -> Ditto x2)....
Image

the clean butts District Branded Backside......
Image

annnnnnd fitting in the empty room i had in my keyboard case so i get to carry one less bag......

hnnnnnnnnng so damn HAPPY. yeah. can't wait to get a PT Pro sized board from him. and Jean's such a dear for turning me on to Elon.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

HOLEY RUSTED METAL BATMAN.

...... only good part of any Shumaakckharklhker touched Bat Clooney movie.

it's... it's beautiful. so freaking happy. yay!

lol. i'm a git though. when i sent him the measurements, i did it with the wood velcro covered board i use to put my laptop and midi keyboard on.... not in the case. it's an inch thick, and it's just a half inch to much. makes it feel scary tight on the pedals when i close the bag. my fault completely, not his.

soooooooooo emailed him about a custom length thin as butts metal board for keys/lappy. gonna be so damn sechsssssssssy.

Yeah it looks promising. I guess we shall see. I am in the process of creating the most devastating tremolo toan ever heard, so I am experimenting with different combos of trem pedals. I have a Verellen Meatsmoke amp incoming next month with trem built in, so that will be fun too. Looking to see what kind of stupidity I can create with a trem pedal in front of the amp, one in the fx loop, and the onboard trem. I don't know how it is going to work out, but I know it will be stupid for sure.

Have Phanta's/Donovan's Klipper coming in. Now I can turn all of my amps into filth-beasts.

lol. like.... on the Ciok's cables to keep them tidy... yesh. but i dunno about the zips instead of velcro thing. i like velcro. 's SOLID.

'm curious about his plate system, and i'm play with that when i get a Pro sized board from him.

When I first heard that idea I was completely baffled why nobody had used it before, and I still am. The technique (remembering a tapped out pattern) could be amazing in ANY sort of pedal and I've yet to hear of any others that use it.

That's said I'm like 90% sure someone will come through and tell me how I'm wrong and it turns out x other pedal did it THIS WHOLE TIME.
