NO REFUNDS. Things are starting to slow down a bit, so hopefully I can get back in the swing of making vids again.
lordgalvar wrote:Nice clip, UG! Got my v2 out today! Been meaning to mess around with it (and re-record a video for it). Quite a fun fuzz.
Still miss the videos though.
It's really quite the incredible sounding pedal, I hope I can score a v2 some day.
jwar wrote:I can't believe you made that Green Monster sound so good! hahaha. All the clips I've heard before were awful. Awesome.
I think Hiro summed it up best...
"the hard to use pedal gives useless sounds. The original septic rotten sound is here"

That clyp visual didn't show this too well, but this was how the Green Monster looked on Ableton. Its kinda like two sine waves. That's the sweep of each Sen knob, with a treble peak being full CCW to 50%, and then bass trough being the rest of the range to full CW...if that makes sense haha.
Here's the Green Monster on Diana Krall clyp again

I just spent 10 hours in photoshop. Green was Sens 1, Purple was Sens 2 for the most part.

Hey there. So the Flower Electronics Little Boy Blue has a really great sounding preamp section with variable gain from 0 to 20db. Here's a listen to a Karimba into it, first clean and then with the gain cranked.

Hey now, hand fetishists rejoice. Here is a look-see at the Flower Electronics Little Boy Blue. Just basic patching while going through the range of the knobs, patching the VCO's together and then the output through the preamp and envelope follower to further modulate the VCO's. Almost got the audio and video synched haha, been awhile.
Here's the what is it

Yay the videos are back

What I love about the range of noises you get from these devices is that when I listen to them I hate 90% of the sounds, but there's always 10% where my brain just says, wow, how can I recreate that with my own setup? ...and I end up chaining a selection of pedals together and rarely getting anything the same as you, but usually ending up in a musical place I'd never visited before. So thanks for the weird noises
If you want to make synching the sound to the visuals easier, try tapping a hard object like the metal tip of a jack onto something hard in front of the camera before you start playing - that way there should be an obvious sudden percussive waveform in the soundtrack that you can synch to the frame that the jack impacts with the surface on.

Thanks for the tip, problem is I'm using gopro's program to edit the audio/video and it doesn't seem to have much fine control over synching the two...seems like its more suited to just putting random audio over your action footage or whatever. But its free haha.

Howdy, here is a listen to the Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax Bass Organ, with a Seppuku FX IC Water cause of fun. Just sorta patched up this to that, the patchbay has outputs and inputs but they seem more like a suggestion than rule as everything into anything changes things up somehow. A little info, when you press a bar you create two sounds, one related to the touch and one from the release. Those are output in stereo, with touch to the left channel and release to right, but when you start patching between barres you get cool panning and other neat things happening between the four oscillators. Oh yeah, you can also just run it in mono too with either the press or release gestures. There's lots of really cool shit going on with the sliders/knobs/patch points, here is the what's it

Hey hey, here is a listen to the Seppuku FX Kompakt Kassette with a Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrax. Much as i love the KK with guitar, it really kills it with a synth signal. I'm running the stereo out of the Tetrax into a Montreal Assembly fewtility one, into the KK. You hear the Tetrax first, and I basically just play a similar thing throughout though I make little changes to the Tetrax's pitch and chaos knobs. I switch back and forth periodically so you can hear the clean signal that the KK is mangling in all its wonderful ways.
