I think GC corporate has figured out that being nice to musicians pays off. The local one in tacoma has been bend over backwards cool to me to the point of opening up new expensive stuff so I could borrow a power adapter specific to a certain thing and they just said, "please bring it back" If my gear needs weren't so oddball I'd shop there more. I've gotten some sweet cabs out of there though...

It sold for $400. Did you buy it!

I would have if I didn't have one already. And I need to fix my beta lead.

We had a store in Melbourne called Billy Hydes Music. They were there for years. They were so awesome at one point. The staff there knew their shit, would bend over backwards to help you, always gave a good deal on gear. Knew all the guys there by name and they all knew mine. I go in there one day and all the regular staff, gone. Vanished like a fart in a wind storm. Replaced by a bunch of complete fuckwits. No more good deals. No more good service. They didn't know shit from clay and couldn't organize a gang bang in a brothel. Moral of the story. They went bankrupt soon after. So yeah being nice to musicians pays off.

no actually i didn't. I was making offers last night but what's weird it shows up that I can still accept the guy's counter he sent me. it doesn't show that it's sold it just says there are 2 competing offers on the table.

I don't even really consider myself a musician. I'm really more of a hobbyist or a blues lawyer at the worst

When I hang out with my musician friends I feel a little out of place since I don't play in a band or really record much.

Oh well :idk:

Fuck, you must have gotten all the staff from the Brissie BHydes, because that gang of cunts had always run that store like a gang of fucking cunts.
Thank fuck they went out of business with their exorbitant mark-ups and general snobbery.
One of the many, many reasons I haven't shopped retail for gear in a LONG fucking time.

But if you think about it, you could totally flip that and make some money.

For example, I would give you $901 for that RIGHT NOW.
