the one time i tried to learn about amps and cabs that fucknut GreenLeaf or whoever did the nEarful designs was a PRICK, i tried to be polite but got more childish and silly insulting as he was assier and assier. got trashed by all his admirers and warned by mods...... never could deal with any of the elitest taint sniffy attitudes of the sub forums outside efx, now the efx seems the same way.

hah. apparently the site owner butt butt guy posted a NO TALKING ABOUT THIS UNLESS. YOU WANT TO POST GUT PICS AND COMPARE edict? ugh. there is no free speech in forums, it's a private area that should be run by the rules of the owner, but nooooot interested in hanging in a "community" that rolls like that.

Dude I soooooo wanted one of those back in the day, just because of all those Les Claypool ads. Also I lusted for that big black/pink rack thing called NIGHTBASS.

I didn't even like the tone(s), but it was called fucking NIGHTBASS.

The problem with that guy is that his real message is: "You don't need expensive gear, only my friends in obscure bands and me with my crappy backwoods studio have the right to have good gear and boast about it". It's the typical TB Amp forum Bass Cable Amp internet tough guy idiocy. I don't get it, why does anybody care what anybody plays with. If you are a rich kid and get to play with a les paul into an axe fx or a fender precision into an SVT, who cares. Who cares what ANYBODY plays with as long as it makes them happy. I mean, sure, I kind of question why someone would spend 70K USD to play a Custom Les Paul through a Dumble and a Klon, but, even then, whatever, as long as it makes people happy, whatever.
