I dunno, the video of here playing was fascinating to watch, and I did like listening to how fast she could play, buuuuuuuut everything else sounded like elevator music. So meh/10.

I know at least one of yall uses those tiny little micro bass amps as a power amp. Anyone have feedback/suggests/pros and cons of using them?

I'm planning on moving without a car so preamp pedal/tiny little power amp is attractive for portability purposes.

i use the SWR one that has no preamp. tiny, LOUD, super reliable. works a champ.

have gigged with it, it's been my at home power amp for a few years.

No, I hate the wheedlie-wheedlie stuff. I also hate the BIPPIDY-BIPPIDY Wooten-wank-off that bassists love to do too. I pretty much hate all forms of wankery like that. Make a fucking song that people want to listen to. There's a reason everyone laughs at Yngwie Malmsteen. Because he can't write any actual songs.

You are welcome to solo...once people have gotten into the song and are sick of your silly anthemic chorus lines. And even then, YOU MUST ENHANCE THE SONG, IN CONTEXT OF SAID SONG.

I thought that clips was way better than it had any right to be. I fucking hate fusion but that was a good fun little tune and I think both the drummer and the bassist grooved harder than their chosen shitty shred fusion style had any right to.
