Did you have to wait for it? I remember Foxrox used to have long wait times, but that was three+ years ago when I first found them on the net.

Yeah, I want to stay analog. I love my OC-2, but I would like a little better tracking and a cleaner sound. The Octron APPEARS to deal that.

For a cleaner sound with better tracking and still analog, I'd vote the Aguilar Octamizer but set it up after your main drivepedals if you try it out.

It's just the differing musical situations for each rig. The Strat rig is for Blues and Country while the LP rig is for Hard Rock/Metal and Space Rock weirdness.

I'm not really sure what version is it! The only reason I have the mudd is because donovan let me play it and I feel in love. I messaged his friend who he sold it to and he just so happened to need some quick cash! it also helped a lot I was Donny's friend because he made the deal super smooth for me.

This might be a question I can research myself, but I thought I'd ask whether either of you have compared the Octron to a Boss OC-2?

I have owned both! the Octron tracks way better and/but is less synthy sounding than the OC2. I found the OC2 almost unusable on bass but great on guitar. the OC2 has great tone but the tracking wasn't good enough for me. Octron tracks great on both and is really fat. it also has an octave up where the OC2 has 2 octaves down instead. I have owned quite a few octave pedals and I think the octron is best for fat octave down besides maybe the aggie octamizer which is also a great octave down. however none of these are polyphonic, which is why I can't wait for the bass whammy to come out!
