Dude, I wanna drone, I'm gonna try to drone some drones into a recording device and if I like it I may submit. How did I miss this thread.

I'm almost done my drone. I put together something that I'm really liking so far. Clocks in at 7 minutes. I tried to keep it a little shorter.
I just want to add some kind of rhythmic part to it
So excited

I've gotten a few or submissions already; a vague description of the pedals used and no pictures so far. is that going to be a thing after all?

I kind of like not knowing what created the drones, because I don't think it matters. I mean -- drone comes from within.
Pictures would be great, but I also get that not everyone is interested or savvy in that mode of expression.

My entry is really coming along! I spent quite a while over the last couple of weeks recording drone ideas, then I came in to do some mixing and digital editing, and now the sound that will probably be 90% of my track is a single guitar chord fed into an infinite software verb.

So much for all that recording... Ah well, I had fun times droning out anyway.

I think I regretfully won't be submitting anything. Work and the band keep getting busier and busier and I'm not at all content with what I have so far. I mistakenly thought that this would come really naturally because I like listening to drone, but it's so far out of my normal playing style that it's been a struggle. I have thoroughly enjoyed the exercise though.
