see? i LIKED Red Line. a lot. hee. dunno if it can get up to Most Loved strata, but it was great. Kevin Smith stepping out of his wheelhouse successfully. this was just a boring overlong shitfuck of a movie. half the time i was like, "i could have watched two Farscape episodes in this amount of time. BLEGH."

i'm.... i'm going through Farscape for the first time.

Bitch Flavored Puddins - the walrus suit was kinda awesome. seriously, i loved PARTS of this movie. with a different tone and better writing for 80% of the dialogue and ALL of Justin Long's, cut out the Cameo Extra Ego Felating scenes.... it could have been really fucking cool.

oh shit. and Michael Parks was the interesting version of the doctor guy from that shiiiiitty Human Centipede thinger. he was so damn good.

That show's such a rollercoaster of emotion.
First it seams you're in for a fuckin treat. But then a fuckin heartbreaking disappointment. And then some relief.

I watched The Sacrament last night. It was basically Jonestown: The Movie. Documentary style, good actors, charismatic southern christian cult leader, intense and really disturbing scenes.

I had an anxiety attack watching someone die slowly after being poisoned. Fingers got all tingly and I had to stop watching and smoke a bowl.

So, fair warning.

lol. i'm only on the second disc of the first season, but it sorrrrrt of feels like if Firefly knew they had 4 seasons to explore stuff and was written in a more leisurely style. i like it a lot so far. excited about the TRIP.

Sacrament is in my To Watch bluray pile. looking froward to that too. glad you dug it. HOPES. RAISED.

Guys, I saw a film called Coherence the other night. If you're into sci-fi or psychological thrillers like Primer, Los Cronocrimenes, The Man From Earth etc., get on it. Don't do any research, just watch it. It's not perfect, but worth it.

Twin Peaks is still annihilating most of what I've seen over the past year. Fuck it's good. I have about half of the second season left to go. I can't think of a show that does mystery, cheeseball humor, parody, intense drama, and more humor, icing the cake with seriously disturbing dream visions and reeeeally bad villains..... all in a 45 minute episode. And the characters a are good. REAL good. And some of the actors are phenomenal.

Twin Peaks is awesome. I haven't actually enjoyed another live-action TV show since watching that. Everything else seems so flat in comparison. It's basically the perfect show.

For sure. I liked the first half a lot more than the second half but it was still a great film.

Yeah, I agree, kinda felt like two different movies. I think it's explained when he talks to the guy in the cafeteria towards the end, though. The whole "I thought it was supposed to be hilarious?" thing. Great performance by Fassbender, loved his way of singing.

Oh man, saw Maps To The Stars yesterday, I definitely recommend it. Great film; tense, creepy, thoughtful, funny, with some superb acting.

And agreed on Twin Peaks. I'm about 3/4 through the first season on my first time watching it, and it's really rather wonderful.

Yesterday I watched Kentucky Fried Movie twice in a row, first regular, then with commentary by John Landis and the producers/his friends.
