I'm curious--when did each of you give up on the console?

Personally, around summer of this year. It was obvious the focus was no longer on making/designing musical stuff, and that wasn't going to change and that it wasn't just an extended vacation.

i never believed it was coming out. it seemed a lot of ground to cover when Devi had just cut back the business after getting stocked by Musicians Friend et al. and failing to meet demand. to me that was the beginning of Devi's break with reality. "yeah, cool, i'll do a guitar Nintendo!"

About the time I saw the kickstarter and went PAHAHAHHAHAAA.

It was sadly, another devi innovative idea not to come to fruition, they seem far too regular.

Also... I didn't get the appeal for a mass market.

Cool idea to try, but I just... never saw it working, even if it wasn't a case of starting from the ground up.

had to be,right?
thats what you do
Yep, I use it on bass. It was originally an LP (which is just an EB with that skipping LP/stutter effect), and I was going to mod it to put the LP effect on a flip switch. Then I screwed it up badly it's just an EB now, in an LP box. But I still dig it.

It had no allure to me from the very beginning. So I really didn't even both following the process to see how it was going. :idk:

If we wanna know who's probably gonna build... Has anyone said they have news? Hasn't said anything bad about the situation? Has built Devi stuff in the past?

I think we know...

As soon as I saw it I just let out a sigh, shook my head, and was reminded of her other projects that never took off.
