A documentary about Steve Jobs is coming out called "Jobs" and Ashton Kutcher is Steve Jobs, I think it's going to fucking suck.

naw. the Jobs guy. asshole.
meh. Apple stuff is kinda shitty to me. it's cute, and they work on making the user interface as accessable as possible, but they give up delving into the os, changing things, and features like true multi tasking or Flash.... only thing i like about them is that they have more options for niche software because they're so popular.
and Apple tech is always wayyyyyy over-priced.
watching first season of Tiger & Bunny. it's pretty good.

ugh ok sorry. i switched in 1998. they've slain ever since. i still deal w/ PCs at work & windows has fucking blown since XP and even XP is pathetic in comparison to OS8 let alone its descendants. nothing's become competition for the ipod, iphone or ipad, regardless of amazon's commercials & price difference.

how about a film about gates? he'd be on my top ten i'd-love-to-kick-in-the-junk list...

huh. so.... i get how it's a polarizing movie, but i liked it a lot. it's totally a movie i'd have to be in the mood for, but the cinematography was beautiful. Noe is an amazingly talented filmmaker.
i could do without the Danger Seizure Town Ahead flashing parts, and there's maybe 20 minutes that could be cut, but i dug it a lot. i've seen lots of movies that try to do something like that, but Noe got it right. very cool.
lol. and fuck the hate on Paz. she's totally the kind of white grrL i dig on. MEOW.
and shit. all the incestual/odd brother sister relationship stuff? YESH PLEASE.
if Paz was my sister..... rarrrrrr. well, maybe not SISTER.... but a distant cousin that i didn't grow up with or that was only related by marriage or something? RARRRRRR.
i kinda would have liked if when his sister and friend were in the taxi they DID get killed by an oncoming car. her being with him going into whatever comes next would have been a pretty ending. the him being reincarnated as his sister's baby was kinda predictable, i liked how they alluded to it then she aborted, then they went back to it. would been more awesome if he'd banged his OH GAWD PAZ IS HAWT sister before he died. been his own daddy and all.
also, YAY internal view peen bashing BOOP.

I DISAGREE
to each his own.
Same here, I really liked that movie. Possibly one of my favourite films.
It's nice to sit back and absorb some stunning cinematography and music every once in a while without being bombarded with dialogue the whole time.
And of course-

i had to rewatch and check bewbz but i like
the different ending interpretations. perhaps since he was on DMT before he died the story told were fantasies mixed with memories and he was slowly telling the story of his life backwards and it culminated in him being born to his mother, perhaps it was more straight forward and he was reincarnated out of his sis's (HAWT) vagoo.....
i REALLY liked the He Came Back Wrong thing that tied in with the idea that souls wander until they are bombarded with nightmares then they choose a rebirth that ended up being him inside his sister's head experiencing her nightmares.
and LOOOOVED the Let Me Watch From Their Viewpoint/Possess Them when she was getting fuckededed.

onyxrhino wrote:You know what is overrated? The opinions of anyone whose central gripe about a movie, book, album, etc. is that it's "boring". I mean, I've seen probably a thousand or more movies in my life, and some were great, some were awful, alot were everything in-between, but nothing I've seen could simply be summed up as "boring".
I don't often watch movies that are bad. I don't have the time to watch shit. That sounds pretentious but there is so much wonderful art out there that I have no time for anything less than what I trust I know I will like. With that said, every now and again I might watch a movie that looks awesome to me but fails miserably and completely disappoints. For instance, I quite liked the first Expendables movie. I like caricature art and things that know what they are. The Expendables was like this. It was gory, funny, and memorable, so I had high hopes for the second one. But I was bored. I was actually bored watching the first act. The conclusion picked up a little, but the opening scene was flat out boring, and it's an action film.
So I would usually agree with you in that a movie, a song, a sculpture, a book is rarely boring, but sometimes they are. Sometimes they have nothing to offer me. Sometimes I'm in the wrong mood for that particular piece and it just doesn't sit right with me. When I watched Expendables 2, maybe I was in a serious movie mood. Who knows?
behndy wrote:oop. i lied. Kickass 2 might be neat, even though i loved the og graphic novel and the second was mehhhhhhhhhh and i DO get three or four erections for Simon Peg/Nick Frost movies so World's End could be tits and bears.
Enter Teh Voyeur - yah. i'm gonna get to it after i watch through at least the first season of Tiger And Bunny. i gots no opinions until then.
I usually dig Empire and trust their reviews. They're saying Kick-Ass 2 is three stars. Enjoyable but not as good as the first.

He was a smart bastard in his own way though. He really knew how to milk and milk, and to get his foot in the door at the right time with 'his' ideas.

Apple are attempting to sue Samsung (again) in order to remove their ability to sell certain products, possibly the Galaxy SII and the Galaxy Tab 10.1, in the United States. The trial will commence in 2014, but until then I believe that certain products are banned in the US. This is happening, pessimists believe, because Samsung are actually beating Apple in the most recent poles in the US smartphone war. Apple are annoyed because their profits have gone down 0.14% (figure I pulled out of my ass) since the Galaxy SII and its incredibly popular successors have been released. So Samsung are competition for Apple, as well as the obvious Microsoft.
