rustywire is originally a reference to the however-many-year-old strings on my shortscale phiclone gtr.
They came like that, when I got it 2 years ago. It's also my first guitar, my beater...and the one I'm most comfortable playing.
They're dark, oxidized, and rough to the touch; and the response is immediate and dirty.
With the Selmer drive and Muff or HP it's
I like their character so much I've been trying to see how long I can make them last, and hear what they can do.
Avatar is Doomgaze from FFVI.
