Re: What are you reading?
lol. yeah, but since he waits like SIX FUCKING YEARS between books, i have to go through the last one to get a reminder on the characters before i finally get to the new one. almost went back and read the last two, since he's doing the whole East Coast West Coast rivalry thing, but i'm lazy. and i already read the first 3 like 4 or 5 times.

that's a great book. and written by a man whose native language was Polish. English was actually his THIRD language, after Polish and French. he's a fascinating character in his own right.

Re: What are you reading?
Over the weekend I went and bought:
20th Century Boys #3
Bloody Monday #1
Ikigami The Ultimate Limit #1
The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service #1
Maoh Juvenile Remix #1-4
Pluto #5
Tenjo Tenge (2 in 1) #2-3
And I was like "There. That ought to keep me busy for the rest of the month..."
And then I read all of them between Saturday and Sunday...
Also finished reading Freakonomics. That's a sweet book.
Here's my impressions of those manga series:
20th Century Boys - Amazing. My second favourite manga series (Monster is #1, ALTHOUGH I CAN'T FIND THE VOLUMES TO FINISH THE SERIES).
Bloody Monday - Tries to be intellectual, but doesn't quite make it. Probably won't continue the series.
Ikigami The Ultimate Limit - Interesting concept. The art style - while not bad - I feel like doesn't quite match the maturity of the writing.
The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service - Not sure if the development of the idea is up to snuff. Haven't decided if I will continue this one.
Maoh Juvenile Remix - Surprisingly good. Seems like it takes from a few other series, but does it better than they did.
Pluto - Awesome. Probably number #3 after 20th Century Boys on my list of favourite manga.
Tenjo Tenge - Enjoyable, but a little immature.

yeah, it's really interesting and i'd say it's really well written. Not an easy reading though
but i'm studying english, so i shouldn't look for easy ones, right?
