I've got an active and two passive basses and all 3 definitely have a punch-you-in-the-dick sound. The active has a switch to go passive if the battery runs out or I want to play a stupid old fuzz. The only slight pain is the difference in signal levels, so I kinda use my compressor as a signal booster. I just crank up the output gain like a 45 degree turn on the comp when I switch to one of the passive basses, and the signal levels match pretty closely.

that super light Peavey series? i forget the model number. used QSC's for years, but man. same wattage, and it weighs like 4 lbs compared to 25 ot whatever ridiculous thing the biggers are.

sorrrrrta rub stereo? it's a two channel, 500 watts per side thingie. but one channel is main pedalboard into a paor of 12's, other side is second pedalboard into a pair of 12's. have a footswitchable splitter so i can play different toans at the same time. USEFUL.

urrrrrrrr yeah? the Rusty gets GRINDY angry. but i use it as a preamp and the boost switch gets too much louder so i use a B3k as an od.

See I liked the Rusty Box but couldn't get past the noise it made with my rig. I tried it with passive and active basses too. Solid state and tube. It drove me fucking nuts! I think it has to do with the power requirements honestly. I mean 32v? Seriously? LOL Speaking of that....where the fuck is Haki??? I don't know why that made me think of him.


Oh and I have to say I'm a moody bitch right now guys. UGH. I hate myself for it. I have a bodybuilding show in 12 weeks and I've dropped 25 lbs so far (in like 10 weeks) and have more to drop. I'm like 8% body fat and weigh 200lbs. So my body is freaking the fuck out. Super high metabolism and hangry emotions all the time!!! I thought about staying off the web in the meantime, but my addiction to you guys is too strong.

I suggest you get to the nearest Men's bathroom at a truckstop to see if you can get rid of some of your energy. Then come back when you are all chilled out and drained.

just disconnected all of mines. the Aggy's i use have these fucking HORRIBLE tweeters. i've bumped the volume for them on when moving cabs then spent like 20 minutes checking cables and pedal settings before i remember to check that because everything sounds like an ear raping squeal fest pig fuck scrum.
