To each their own. The pickguard is funky but the over all flow of the guitar with the tele headstock looks killer to me. That plus lower output pups this will hopefully be a guitar I enjoy for clean instrumental stuff amongst everything else I will use it for.

I'm on a big Fender thing at the moment. I'm getting my reworked strat back this weekend, but I really want a Jazzmaster. GOD DAMNIT GAS.

I've switched over to 80% fenders, 2 telemasters, a telecaster, and a baritone jaguar. I still keep my beat up old epi V though, there's just something magical about it. As far as jazzies they can do doom but if your gonna get one, get one with a fixed TOM bridge like a j mascis squier or a CP fender (both of which also come with p90 sounding pickups). It makes all the difference when down tuning, it increases sustain and stability and just makes life alot easier.

Not all of us.... most of my guitars are in E, and then i have my bari in drop G (which some consider Stupid Low).

I have guitars in E and C. Not stupid low, but low enough to rattle windows

I tune to drop A for this new project, but I have another guitar in E flat to mess around with.

I am in A standard with all of my guitars minus one in C.

I'm still refining the process, but I've been practising this way of playing for almost two years now, so I don't think I'm going to get much better. I started writing like this when my band disbanded in 2009. I needed something to keep my mind occupied, so I began writing huge compositions using pedals and an electric guitar. When I think about it, the style is not too dissimilar to classical music. The meandering and dynamic flow of a classic piece is what inspired me. I've always been a classical fan, either just a piano solo or a full orchestra, and I finally have the ability to do roughly what they do on stage, but with a guitar. No recording equipment, though, sadly.

I love the look of the Squier 51. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it. I'm a fan of retro looking guitars.

I was just imaging that last night. You'll have all the blueSky and the Flint reverb tones, plus a shit-tonne of other stuff. It's the obvious next step for Strymon, unless they finally release their overdrive pedal.

IF you use a 9V supply it runs at 18V if you use an 18V supply it runs at 36V

I wish you didn't have to combine two outputs to get 18v on the DC10. More power supplies need 18v options. T-Rex have a new mega PSU coming out that will have at least two 18v outputs. I'll probably pick one of those up for my mega board and use my old T-Rex Chameleon for extra isolated outputs. Then I'll use the CIOKS DC10 for my Pedaltrain Jr board.

Its not 2 bad IMO.

I really want another bass so I can keep in in A, but honestly I don't really go below E anymore. C is still my favorite tuning for the heavy, though.

C standard tuning here. I've had my ATK tuned to drop A, though.
