I have been shoveling snow off roofs all week to install solar panels. Not fun!

Funny thing, most of the people that I am installing for are right wingers, and libertarians trying to stick it to the power company and cut down their electric bill. Of the people I have asked most couldn't give two shits about the environment.

It's 61 right now, high of 75 today.

So, a good buddy of mine is back from spending a year in Colombia. He plays guitar and keys, he can play proper classical guitar as well electric, his keys skills are pretty good and he has pretty good theory training on the keys.
He came over while I was jamming on my DSI Tempest, Modular, Effects, iPad, etc. and he dug what I was doing. Him and I have been talking about doing a project together for awhile so it looks like we are going to see if we can get something off the ground. I figure he will add melodies over the top of what I do for the most part; super effected/washed out guitar or keys over the rhythms, bass lines, drones, whatever, that I have going on.

Should be fun! Recording a few songs and then working out a 45 minute live set are the goals.

And I run hot, too.

And it was cold here.

Solar panels are not too popular here because we get cheap hydro-electric electricity from the state owned electric utility at prices set by the state. The best part if that our crazy socialist utility keeps telling us how to save electricity because they want to sell spare production to the US North East at 4x the price they sell to us. That helps pay for our healthcare. I'm sorry.

There are so many better way to get electricity and yet we rely on coal. Did you know we will literally implode entire mountains just mind coal? Mountains that have been on this earth for thousands of years, and then gone for what? It's sickening.

I wish to God we would use better options. There's solar panels, wind turbines, hydro-electric (like you said) and a bunch of other ways.

The same goes for gasoline. Don't get me started. UGH. Fuck this planet and its people.

FRACKING BRO FRACKING.

It's ok -- if you think Jesus is going to Rapture you away, who gives a fuck about the state of the planet?

Of course you care -- you're not a dick. The same can not be said for many of our contemporaries.
