We lost power last night at about 2am. At the time it was -3 outside with a windchill of -19. We went and got my son and brought him into bed with us since we knew it was going to get really really damned cold in his room with no heat. The power came back on around 6am, and it had dropped down to about 49 in the house. It was almost back up to 60 by the time I left for work. Good times.

The thing is, I generally love winter, it's my favorite season, and I don't really mind the cold either. But today is really fucking cold.

i looooooove cold shtuff. i run super hot (meOW), so i rarely wear more than jeans and a tshirt. so awesome traveling to spots that are cold enough for me to wear a jacket.

TOURISM SUPPORT FOREVER. we did Empire State (i'm deathly afraid of heights, so could only look over for a few seconds. she dug it though.), tried to go to Statue of Liberty, was sold out.

SELL OUTS. WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm with you Behnder, I run super hot. Even this morning when it was below zero, I was still sweating in my car because I had the heat on. And all I was wearing was a polo shirt, jeans and a fleece jacket.

It was down to 25 last night. Freezing for Florida.

technically, that's freezing wherever you are.

Sunny and warm today. Around 40 for the most of the day.
