They'll let you bring in whatever, it's taking stuff out again that you'll need a release form, show your ID, blah blah blah. One year they had an ultraviolet scan thing that was pretty cool, especially after passing through it 20 times in a row on the last day whilst loading out crap.

I couldn't see right for a few hours afterward, eyeballs were like this:

I can't wait!! I turned it into a mini vacation. Bringing the wife and kids, doing Disney Land then shipping them off and staying for NAMM. Can't wait! I've actually never been excited for a trade show before hahaha. I used to have to go to them every year for work in Vegas and I fucking hated them. Now as a result I hate Vegas as well and will never go there again.


In other new my amp is still fucked. The tech hadn't even touched the fucking thing when I called him last week. He is extremely backed up and made it a point to say "I'll call you". UGH. One month down. Let's see how long it takes and if I don't flip my shit on Mesa for this experience.

I'm so jealous of all this NAMM talk. I have a friend who's going to be there, who has said he could get me in, but I don't think I'm gonna have the vacay time available from work.

They are the perfect instrument to kick back on the beach with a few beers on a warm night. Or just kick back on the porch with a few beers. That's usually how I like to rock mine.

Someone said my bass was too loud at my show the other night.
Couldn't even hear the opener's bass. Sound guy was a drummer and blasted treble since he's probably got cymbal-related hearing loss. Only one sub for the FOH. Tops were at eye level.

So I was having kind of a shitty day today. Did a group buy on TB and it wasn't turning out the way I'd hoped, the tech that was supposed to be fixing my amp hasn't even touched it and to top it off I was stuck getting my car fixed for two hours at Toyota today for some recall on my transmission.

By the end of today all but 2 pedals have shipped out, that's almost 4k worth of pedals. TB pulled through.

A Mesa rep on TB contacted me after I posted on TB about how frustrated I was with the tech for not even touching my amp. The rep got the president of Mesa to approve to send me a brand new amplifer! A brand new one!!! Hahaha. I have a brand new Bass Prodigy on the way to me right now! I should have it by the end of the week or Monday at latest. The best part is they are making the tech ship the other amp back so I don't have to mess with it. They told me they do not do replacements and that mine was a special case and they wanted me to be happy. Talk about the best fucking customer service I've EVER experienced. These guys are going to be my amp people for good. You can't replace something as valuable as service like that. I'm so thrilled I could literally jump for joy. Made me feel great to know someone cared.

Fuck that tech though. Dudes a dick. He was mad at me for even asking about my amp.
