One question - how do you drill your enclosures? Do you have templates or a drilling jig?

I have a template jig that fits over the box. (a sheet metal top and 4 wood rails)
It has 4 different knob configurations. 2, 3, 4 and 5 hole patterns.
I put a number next to each hole so for the 4 hole pattern each hole has a 4 next to it and so on for each pattern.
I have one for each box size and for all my "Standard" pedals. For the custom and dual pedals I measure and mark everything
with a square and ruler.

it started as a treble booster (Vox), and now its got a tone knob, a volume knob and a voltage knob.

it sounds like this :

dunno if this would have helped but sometimes ive had similar problems cured by rubbing down such a problematic board with some fine steel wool to get rid of whatever shit is on the surface that you can't see and is ruining your life.

Officer Bukowski wrote:^ I was wondering the same thing. Also curious how you drill the holes through those beautiful plates. Do you install the plates before drilling?

I need to get a drill press.

I imagine its just pcb copper clad. should be simple to drill.

That's a good idea! I didn't even think of that. I actually have some very fine steel wool I bought yesterday because I'm preparing for some etching. I'll give that a shot.

I do want to add a LED to it too. That's as simple as an extra resistor right?

Also, as far as etching goes. What do you guys do with the acid when you're done with an etch? What I mean is, what is the proper way of disposing it?

After a little frustration, a replaced iron tip, a wasted fully populated board, and lots of testing, I finally finished BlindToFaith's BlueGreen Muff.

Tone-bypass, mids knob, flat mids switch, and presence toggle.

Cool build man.

I couldn't help but notice it says "Dirge Electronics" on the plate.. That's funny, we call my drummer/good friend Dirge because his old fake ID had some dude named Jaime Ledergerber or something on it. We couldn't really figure out how to pronounce Ledergerber so we call him Dirge haha

Those Mudbunny PCBs rock. I have one over here just begging to be populated.

Hahaha that's funny! I had a noise label before Void Seance that was called Dirgehead Distribution. I just think dirge sounds heavy hah

I love the mud bunny boards but my hands are too massive to navigate it very easily haha. Fun build not using box caps!
