Nad, that Stinger is so sexual. I would rub my smaller than average man hands all over that beauty.
A question for you practicing sort: What are you practicing right now? Just a general inquiry, I'm hoping to pick up something new to add to my routine since I haven't taken a lesson in a few years. It can be technical/musical/pedalgogical/melodic/bassic/etc.
I've been working on playing ascending and descending thirds for awhile and I've gotten pretty fast with it, and developed some cool song riffs too. For example, in Em I'll just play every other note ascending and then descending over 2 octaves:
E G B D F# A C E
F# A C E G B D F#
G B D F# A C E G
Etc.
I know it's just playing 13 chord arpeggios, but I'm not doing it with any jazzy intent, more just trying to move around the fingerboard more and play less linear. Play'em in 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and triplets and you've got a couple months worth of material to shed.

I think I gave myself tendinitis or carpal tunnel trying to palm mute. I blame the delay setting on my BitQuest. Damn slapback.
But seriously, my hand has fucking hurt bad for like a week now. Missed band practice. Guess I should hit up the doctor.

Mine was just like nad's in honeyburst and a clear guard. I can attest to sex appeal.
DO IT.

That is a sexy bass.
I don't know if I could play one with a cover on it like that. Never tried. I like how it looks, but it seems impractical.
I play with a pick mostly, though.

Always loved a fretless p bass with no lines!
I'd prolly take the covers off too though.

Yea the covers will get in the way for sure. I do play close to the neck sometimes though. I'll just have to see.
I'm excited! First vintage!

No, actually that was honest.
Tobacco burst is the best burst.
Also, I pretty much exclusively play near the neck (a little above where the thumbrest is) so what I'm trying to say is that you should probably flip that bass to me when you flip it.

The Rock Goes to College clip made a huge impression on my 16 year old self when I saw it on VH1. Some of their stuff I dig a LOT.
