I get that all the time with my band, except it's usually older folks. They'll say things like "you guys are pretty good, but why don't you play [obscure song/artist only they know]"

Even worse is people come up to me and talk to me while playing, asking for requests. I get it's a coverband, but how do they expect an instrumental trio to play rap songs and not be boring as fuck.

Last night I took out my MM Sterling and shimmed the neck... Holy shit why didn't i do this years ago.

I've shimmed several basses before but never the MM. Night and day difference.

There is a band I like called "El Michels Affair" they play funk versions of Wu-Tang songs, actually really good. Also prime smoking music.

Oh I'm not saying it's impossible. We do a couple of hip hop songs in our sets. We were asked to play 99 problems by jay z. Take out the words and it's just boring. I'll check out that band though. Love me some Wu.

What kind of phone are you using? This site is perfectly usable on my Nexus tablet and my iPhone.

Get to upgrade in a few months to the SV. I have it bookmarked. 75% of the time I'm logged out no matter how many times I put it to automatically log in. It's pain. I'd be on here way more with an app.

Auto log in on mobile is glitchy.

yeah. if it has to refresh some times i get logged out, most times i get bumped to the crappy mobile version.

New green bass is a huge success. Just listed the black one on TB today! Pretty pumped. Think I might go buy a Bass Whammy today to fuck with.
