I was planning to add two more Dixies to my case with some room I freed up, but now I'm thinking I might make that two uBraids instead. Question for StrangeTales, or other Braids owners, does the sync setting on the Trig input behave like any old regular analog sync input?
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.

I've heard good things about Wren, that it's a pretty close facsimile of the Nord modular, which is also something I'd like to try some day. Donno why I haven't tried Wren yet though :)

It should. Straight from the manual:
TRIG: This trigger input serves three purposes. 1/ Braids’ physical models need to be “excited” by an impulse on this input to give birth to a sound. 2/ The other models will treat the trigger as a reset signal, bringing the phase of the oscillator(s) to 0. 3/ This input can also be used to trigger an internal AD envelope applied to the parameters of your choice, to create sound animation and attacks without an external envelope module.

man the Sloth is some crazy modulation control! Nothing special here, just a quick little weird patch but shows what the sloth does hooked up to the clouds and then the other crazy stuff is coming from the Rainmaker

Any users of the Polaxis Talko on here? Couldn't find anything in search. Seems immensely cool, an Arduino based speech synth and VCO.

The Roboto is dope, but it seems like the effect is pretty random, or am I missing something?

Roboto is pretty much the same chip as the Seppuku dpm I believe. It has like different shifting modes you can select. It's more like a circuit bent toy.

mannnn i love Detroit Modular. i had to buy my Edges off of Vintage King Audio (only place i could find one in stock) and they charged me tax AND shipped FedEx. which takes fucking FOREVER.

CtrlMod was good, no tax, shipped USPS Priority. but Detroid Modular is just awesome peoples. and they told me that they were told Pam's News would be back in stock this Monday, just got a shipped notification today.

they. are. DELICIOUS.

So, I've put together this 'dream' system. How much psu headroom should I aim for? According to modulargrid, the draw of this is 900 mA +12V, 365 mA -12V and 0 mA 5V. The uZeus gives you 1000mA at +12V, 500mA at -12V and 170mA at 5V, so there's 100mA left at +12V and 135mA at -12V. Is that sufficient? Also, what I have in mind with this, is the potential of having 3 separate synths at one time, an effects section and a versatile modulation section. I know a dedicated mixer would probably be a good idea, but I figure I can use the Maths, modDemix and the mixer on the 32, since I probably won't be using all 3 synths at the same time all the time. Any issues other than that? Alternative modules I should look into?

Image

Bear in mind, that this system would take me several months to assemble, and that I'll probably change my mind as I go along.

Here's some Sunday weirdness..... ran a field recording through Clouds and Rainmaker onto Morphagene for one layer. Then Matter through Clouds and Rainmaker for percussive layer. Then three guitar layers through my pedalboard....... bunch o' nonsense but it's fun :!!!:

Magpie announced they're going to be shrinking MI's Frames into a 8HP package next and I want it so bad. Always wanted a Frames but that thing is so big.
