This dude straight up takes other peoples shit and sells it and advertises his builds. You know he's selling them. How the fuck is Talkbass letting him get away with this?

Ive wondered about that myself. Seems a little shady and everyone on TB sucks his dick all over the place. I saw that he cloned the Blower Box and is selling it in a smaller box. Its one thing to clone a big company, but people are going to buy his smaller "improved" clone instead of supporting a small builder that pours his heart and soul into his work. Fucked.

I messaged Matt on Facebook and sent him a link. I'm so tired of that dude. He clones basses too. Doesn't have an original bone in his body apparently.

Don't get me wrong, if I had the means and skills, I'd be cloning EVERYTHING. But I wouldn't sell the shit from small builders. Especially with the name of the original pedal on it. That's crazy that he clones basses too. God, I wonder how many relic "vintage" p basses and barbershops he's sold to blues lawyers. Sickening.

I guess I shouldn't say he clones basses. He makes basses that look similar to fender and rics. Not exact clones. I mean yea everyone clones but at least change the name or something. Fuck

I talked to Matt and he's actually flattered, so I guess no issue. I just thought it looked pretty shady to me and I know that guy sells his stuff. I mean whatever. Just doesn't seem right to me, but that's the way things go.

I think most people would still rather buy from Matt directly and most people would readily understand the difference between a clone and the real thing especially if they're talking about it on an internet gear forum.

I'll take a photo of my pedal shelf/Ikea-substitute-for-a-man-cave tomorrow and post it. I love all my pedals that aren't on the gig board and have no intention of doing anything less than hoarding.

Having pedals I don't use makes me feel uncomfortably first world. Maybe I would feel differently if I had excess money (not saying any of you do or should feel as I do)
